Balboa International School

Balboa School is an accredited, 1-12 private school in Escondido, San Diego County offering college preparatory curriculum in smaller classes. For new students, school rapidly becomes an experience they actually look forward to. Rules, expectations, and lessons are well communicated to students and parents. We create positive learning experiences that encourage students to actively engage with the curriculum and work towards mastery of academic goals.

The mission of Balboa School is to provide a diverse educational environment that promotes high academic standards, cultivates creativity, and builds the skills necessary for college, career and civic life.

Certification: Balboa School has been accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) since 1998 and is a member of the College Board. The majority of Balboa courses are approved by the University of California’s A-G system. Balboa is NCAA certified allowing all student athletes to be eligible for athletic scholarships.

Balboa International Education (BIE) is a professional international education group started in the United States that offers students the ability to earn an American diploma internationally in our international dual diploma high school program.  Additionally, Balboa International Education offers international middle school and international elementary school programs that allow students to improve their English, learn 21st century skills, and become global citizens.  Balboa International Education also offers study abroad programs, study abroad application and international education communication.
