Permanent, Part time, 0.4 FTE
We are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, committed and experienced professional to join a small, enthusiastic and highly successful team to deliver our Secondary Initial Teacher Education programmes. Teaching will focus on preparing trainees to teach their specialist subject within the secondary curriculum as well as contributing to wider professional studies.
The ability to liaise with colleagues in a range of institutions will be an essential requirement in order to support the trainees’ professional development during their school based training; support school based mentors to enhance consistency of provision; share good practice and contribute to the continuing development of our partnerships with schools and employers.
The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher with a passion for and commitment to the development of the next generation of teachers. They will be able to model outstanding practice and use their experience to inform and guide trainees to become excellent practitioners.
