NO! We want to protect Tibet from Globalisation!
YES! We want to open up Tibet to Globalisation!
10mins prepare your case = 20mins class debate!
BE PREPARED TO DEFEND YOUR CASE!
Teacher use the ‘Swinging Pendulum Graphic’ to play in the background. Teacher and a box of chocolates (reward) to swing to either one side of the room or the other to demonstrate which team is winning by then standing more towards the winning team with the strength of points made.
Reshow Objectives and ask students to write up a conclusion in answer to the lesson question ‘Should we open up Tibet to the forces of Globalisation?’ Justify your answer why by giving reasons why your points are more valid than the oppositions reasons raise din the debate.
