The school is federated with Windmill Primary School, sharing an Executive Headteacher and leadership team, teaching and support staff and governing body.
Windmill Children’s Centre is part of the school, with daycare and outreach services delivered from the centre in Belle Isle. There is a Specialist, Inclusive Learning Centre team from Broomfield SILC based at Windmill Primary with places in KS1 and 2 for children with Autism.
We are proud to offer a unique and nationally regarded music education in partnership with Opera North, through the In Harmony Community Residency Project. Every child receives in excess of four hours additional music tuition delivered by a team of inspiring teaching artists and the further opportunity up to seven hours after school provision. All children have opportunities to perform on the national stage, with musical performances in spectacular venues as the South Bank Centre, Leeds Town Hall, Hull City Hall to name but a few.
